Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data InsertFinance collects, how it's used, and how you can control it. InsertFinance is a personal finance app (debts, income, expenses, and savings goals).

1. What data we collect

We do not collect location, contacts, camera/microphone access, or browsing data outside the app.

2. How data is used

Keep your debts, income, expenses, and goals synced across your devices.
Calculate balances, totals, and what's due in the coming days.
Send a push notification when a debt is close to its due date.

We do not sell, rent, or share your financial data with third parties for advertising purposes. There is no third-party tracking or ad SDK in this app.

3. Where data is stored

We use Firebase (Google Cloud) as our infrastructure: Firebase Authentication for login, Cloud Firestore for financial data, and Cloud Messaging for push notifications. Google acts as our infrastructure processor, under the Firebase data processing terms.

Access to your data is restricted by database security rules: each account can only read and write its own data, never anyone else's.

4. Your rights

Access and edit: all your data is visible and editable directly in the app.
Deletion: you can delete any individual debt, income entry, expense, or goal in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
Portability: you may request a copy of your data through the same contact.

5. Retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. When you request account deletion, your data is permanently removed from Firestore.

6. Children

InsertFinance is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
